At AI Fashion Week, we are passionate about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in fashion with the use of AI. We believe that AI has the potential to revolutionize the fashion industry, and we want to provide a platform for AI designers to showcase their innovative and groundbreaking work.

To ensure that our competition is fair and that the designs are truly unique, we have implemented a strict selection process. We are looking for designers who are not simply replicating existing designs, but who are researching and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible using all the available AI tools.

We encourage our AI designers to think outside the box and experiment with new technologies and techniques. We want to see collections that are truly innovative and cohesive, and that set a new standard for the fashion industry.

Why guidelines are important:

By having guidelines, we are encouraging our AI designers to focus on the following:

Creativity: We want our designers to use AI to create truly unique and innovative designs that would not be possible without it.

Research: We want our designers to research the latest AI tools and techniques, and to use them to create designs that push the boundaries of what’s possible.

Cohesion: We want our designers to create collections that are cohesive and well-thought-out, with each piece complementing the others.

We believe that these guidelines will help us to ensure that AI Fashion Week showcases the best and brightest AI designers in the world, and that the collections presented are truly groundbreaking and inspiring.

1. The collection can either be for SS24, AW24, SS25 or AW25.

2. We will only accept 30 images for final submissions this season. That should consist of 20 Runway looks, 5 close-up detail shots and 5 shots containing BTS, Street style and or front-row shots of the runway. 

3. In addition to the 30 final images you are welcome to submit up to 5 Videos. The videos must be dominantly AI. 

4. The collection must have a diverse range of silhouettes.

5. Consider the overall aesthetic and storyline of your collection and make sure it is cohesive.

6. Experiment with new technology and techniques to push the boundaries of what is possible in fashion and AI.

7. Consider your market and who your designs will appeal to.

8. Consider the sustainability and environmental impact of your collection. Are the materials sustainably sourced and manufactured?

9. Aim to use a variety of models, including those of different ages, sizes, and ethnicities to show the diversity of the world we live in. 

10. All Images must have a 9:16 or 1:1 aspect ratio and 1080p HD resolution minimum. They must be either PNG or JPEG and 2 MB maximum.

11.  Videos can be uploaded in either GIF, Webm, MP4 or MOV. Maximum file size 20 MB and a 9:16, 16:9 or 1:1 aspect ratio.
